Will my inbox go back to normal if I don't like the product?
If you login to Fyxer and delete your account, your inbox will revert to how it was before.
How can I get my email signature included on drafts?
If you’d like your drafts to include your signature please go into the Preference tab and scroll down to the email signature section. Copy and paste your signature from the settings page on Gmail/Outlook into our signature box and press "Update".
Can Fyxer AI send emails on my behalf?
Fyxer AI can't send emails on your behalf. It's impossible for us to do so. We only draft your emails.
How does Fyxer AI categorize emails, and can I change how it works?
Yes! Fyxer AI learns and adapts to your needs, helping you stay in control of your inbox.
- Smart Categorization - Emails are automatically sorted into categories like "To Respond," "FYI," or "Marketing" based on content and sender.
- Personalized Inbox Management - Decide which categories stay in your inbox and which are moved into folders for a cleaner, more focused workspace.
- Refine your email categorization - If an email is miscategorized, you can update its category manually. Fyxer AI learns from your corrections over time to improve accuracy, however it does not store or use your data for model training.
To adjust your email categorization preferences, visit app.fyxer.com > Preferences > Email Categorization.
How do I sign up and get started with Fyxer AI?
It’s quick and easy!
- Go to www.fyxer.com and click “Sign Up”.
- Connect your email (Gmail or Outlook) next.
- Now you are inside what we call the Fyxer dashboard. To customize your email Fyxer settings head to Settings > Preferences and toggle on “Email categorization” and “Draft replies”.
Start using Fyxer AI - it will immediately begin sorting emails and drafting replies to help streamline your workflow.
You can always adjust your settings in the Fyxer dashboard to tailor the experience to your needs.
Which video meetings will Fyxer join?
You can decide if Fyxer asks to join all of your meetings or only those that you host in Preferences.
When you have a video meeting, Fyxer will ask to join the meeting to take notes.The meeting host will need to let it in, and can always kick it out, just like any other attendee.
When you finish the meeting, you will find a follow up email in your drafts ready to be sent to the attendees. Attendees of the meeting will be sent a link to the meeting recording and notes.
How does Fyxer AI work with Outlook?
Fyxer works seamlessly with both Gmail and Outlook but operates slightly differently due to the underlying structures and features of these platforms.
Unlike Gmail’s labels, Outlook uses categories and folders:
- Categories are color-coded tags applied to emails.
- Folders physically move emails out of your inbox.
When Fyxer AI processes an email:
- It assigns a category (e.g., "1: to respond", "2: FYI").
- The default settings are toggled on for all emails to stay in the inbox, except for meeting updates and marketing emails to be filed away in their folder.
- The settings you choose are personal preference, you may choose that the email either stays in the inbox or be moved into a corresponding folder.
Example: An email marked "1: to respond" will either:
- Stay in the inbox with the red "1: to respond" category (if you prefer to keep it visible).
- Move to the "1: to respond" folder (if you have disabled a category in your Fyxer settings).

When will drafts be written?
Any email in the To Respond folder will have a draft written. If you would like a draft written for an email in a different folder, move it into the To Respond folder.
How are drafts created, and where can I find them?
Fyxer AI takes the work out of writing emails by automatically drafting responses when an email is marked as "To Respond."
- Find your drafts in the Drafts folder or directly within the email thread if conversation view is enabled.
- Manually request a draft by forwarding an email to ai@fyxer.com if you need a response on demand.
- Refine as needed - you can edit or discard drafts before sending, ensuring each response matches your tone and intent.
If you’re not seeing drafts, check that conversation view is enabled in your email settings or review your Fyxer AI preferences in the dashboard.
Will my inbox go back to normal if I stop using Fyxer AI?
Yes, absolutely. If Fyxer AI doesn’t meet your needs, you can delete your account, and your inbox will immediately return to its original state. This will also cancel your subscription with Fyxer. All changes made by Fyxer AI will be undone, including the automatic removal of all folders in Outlook and Gmail, ensuring your system is fully restored to how it was before using the tool.
To completely disconnect, go to Settings > Integrations and delete your email and calendar connection.

What if I already have a system to organise my emails?
Login to Fyxer and go to the "Preferences" tab to customize the set-up.
For Microsoft users - Why are my folders empty?
When you sign up, we only file emails categorized as "Marketing" or "Notification" into folders. If you want to file different categories, go to the Preferences tab and scroll to the "Emails to show in main inbox" section.
How does the Calendar feature work?
If you’d like Fyxer AI to help you with scheduling, you must have connected your calendar during signup or from the Integrations page. You can see how our scheduling feature works here.

If you get it for your team, Fyxer will learn faster from all of the emails and video calls across your business. This means it will write better emails and meeting notes.
